About the Timbertown Miniature Railway

The Timbertown Miniature Railway is a group of people on the mid-north coast of New South Wales, sharing their interests in Model and Miniature engineering, The Timbertown Miniature Railway membership is made up of people with many different interests and backgrounds who enjoy model engineering in all its different forms, from Miniature Live Steam locomotices, Miniature Live Steam Traction Engines, miniature steam machinery and boilers to model diesel locomotives, garden railways and HO/OO model railways.

We cordially invite you to visit the Society and help make our track something great!

The railway was originally developed in conjunction with the Timbertown Heritage Steam Railway and the Timbertown Steam and Oil Engine Club. However, due to insurance coverage problems it was decided that having two clubs would better serve the ideals of running a miniature railway and in the case of the Timbertown Steam and Oil Engine Club running steam and oil engines, etc.

The Timbertown Miniature Railway was founded in 2003 with the railway being located near the Bago Station Siding.
